Report: Cameroon wants Gazprom, Golar to make more LNG
MOSCOW, May 27 (PRIME) -- The National Hydrocarbons Corporation of Cameroon (SNH) and its partner Perenco Cameroon have launched negotiations with Russian gas giant Gazprom and British company Golar on higher production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
Currently, Cameroon produces LNG at the Hilli Episeyo floating plant under an 8-year contract that expires in 2026. SNH wants the plant to remain in Cameroon, the Wall Street Journal reported.
